The BikeCap saddle covers are provided with an anti-theft ribbon. You can tie it to the bottom of your saddle. This way, the case stays nicely in place, even when you don't use it for a while and store it under your saddle. This also makes it more difficult for a potential thief to remove the case. See below a schematic drawing of the application.
This drawing shows 3 methods to attach the case. It's up to you to decide how to use it.
- Around the seat post; pull the case through the loop.
- Around the 'spring' under your saddle; you pull the case through the loop.
- Remove the seat post, thread the loop through it and replace the seat post.
In principle, our items are designed to be suitable for every bike. Here we make a distinction between adult and children's bicycles when it comes to the saddle covers.
For beach cruiser bikes, we recommend the adult size saddle cover because of the wide saddle that comes with this type of bike. The dimensions of the covers are listed in the product information for each item.
The material chosen is a woven fabric, which, after treatment with a coating, is made water-repellant.
